About SRmetalsmith

Sander Rosenberg has been working in metal for decades. He received his BA in Fine Art with an emphasis in Sculpture from San Diego State University. In these bracelets, cuffs, and watches he pays tribute to poets, writers, and wits from antiquity, through Shakespeare, to the 20th century.

He lives in downtown San Diego and has a studio in Little Italy.

All pieces are hand-crafted, from the forging into shape, stamping of poetry (or other sayings), possible patination, and polishing.  Metals include copper, brass, aluminum, and (usually stainless) steel, as well as “silver-filled” (a thin sheet of sterling silver bonded to base of brass), and sterling.

As of this summer (’15) Sander is now donating 10% of sales to humanitarian and environmental charities on a month-by-month basis.
That chosen for:
July was the San Diego Food Bank,
August: American Refugee Committee,
September: Surfrider Foundation.
October: Sierra Club.
November: Doctors Without Borders (/ M.S.F.).
